Synopsis
Love with No Limits
A newly landed immigrant from South America, Martina’s parents die of a drug overdose and Kate is assigned to be her child services worker. An instant connection is made between the two and Kate quickly loses her objectivity and pursues adoption after quitting her career in order to do so.
Simultaneously, Kate’s relationship with her fiancé, Michelle, is falling apart because Kate is unable to become pregnant and realizes that Michelle’s love is conditional. Rachel is Kate’s best friend and constant support while Kate is trying to navigate the next stages of her life with Martina.
Shortly after adopting Martina, Kate is diagnosed with late stage breast cancer and is required to be hospitalized for treatment immediately. Life is flipped upside down yet again as Kate has no idea how Martina will be cared for and the details regarding Kate’s childhood comes to light with Rachel.
Michelle keeps popping in and out of Kate’s life with uncertainty but with Rachel being the one constant in both Kate and Martina’s lives, Kate asks her best friend for one last dying wish before she breaks the promise she made to Martina.
