Synopsis
Love Lost and Found
A former CFO for a New York law firm that went under, Chris and his rebellious son, Mason, are now back in their hometown of Nags Head, North Carolina. Chris is back managing the same grocery store he did through high school and Mason continues to become further and further disconnected from his dad.
Chris reconnects with an old high school friend named Jill, who is also a single parent to a young boy named Brent, and the four of them become a blended family. Jill has put herself through online school to become a Veterinarian and is much more content with life as opposed to her frustrated husband.
Just when the new brothers are embracing each other, Chris finds another opportunity in New York that keeps him away from the family most of the time. Jill realizes her husband has become estranged and disconnected and catches him cheating on her with his boss.
Mason has become a protector to Brent and Brent is loving his new social status as Mason’s little brother, however, Chris has destroyed their new found reality. Chris and Mason move to New York while Jill and Brent remain in Nags Head and repair seems unattainable.
Mason refuses to stay away from Brent, runs away from his selfish father, but is killed when hitchhiking along the Interstate and now Brent feels that life is lost as well. Can Jill and Chris save Brent before it is too late?
